I love life and part of that is due to taking a hiatus as often as I can! Life can be what we make it! And we should be making it full of what brings us happiness! My goal is to make my life into the adventure that I want it to be!
I’m Heather and you can find me in Southwest Florida where I was born and raised! I love life and making the most of it and that includes taking a hiatus whenever I can. During these hiatuses, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, cuddling up with my 3 dogs, cheering on the Miami Heat, traveling both near and far and on the continuous hunt for an incredible meal! Oh and you’ll know it’s me…. I’ll be the girl with an icy cold drink in my hand, either a coffee or a perfectly mixed drink!
No more hoping for travel, no more wishing I was sharing an incredible meal with friends and family, no more being an observer in this wild world! So get out of the passenger seat with me and let’s make our life the adventure that it should be!
I know, I know, there are a million reasons why we don’t create the life we want. Throw those excuses away! Everyday we have the opportunity to find time to indulge in our life! You just have to do it!
You know the saying, “There’s no time like the present”. Well that’s just it. If we are not careful, the days escape into weeks and the weeks into months and so on. Then we find ourselves stuck in a rut and not loving our lives! Listen we all have tough seasons of life, I totally get that!
I am here to inspire and encourage you to take a hiatus and make it into your own adventure! By definition, a hiatus is a pause or gap in a sequence, series, or process. Come on people, we need to be doing this more often!!! A hiatus can be stopping to savor a great meal or a day trip to a nearby destination. It can be as simple as slowing down to admire a beautiful flower while sipping on a cold glass of sweet tea! Stop getting tangled up in the “to- do’s” of life and take a hiatus to treat yourself….you deserve it!
